Mission

Our mission is to work with rescue horses, horse owners, communities, organizations, governments and advocate for wild horses to help improve welfare standards and stamp out equine suffering. We not only work with abandoned, abused or neglected horses but aim to educate horse owners, provide financial assistance when needed and educate people to interact with horses in a way that benefits both horse and human.

Our vision is a world where every horse is protected from abuse, neglect, emotional trauma and slaughter and are treated with respect, compassion and understanding.

Goals

1.To offer Embrace the Moment, an equine-assisted therapy program for cancer patients, cancer survivors, & their caregivers. Our goal is to offer supported activities are designed for everyone on the cancer pathway. or the Santa Cruz County, Monterey County and Santa Clara County community walking the cancer road.
2.To offer Embrace the Moment, an equine-assisted therapy program to veterans, military personnel, both acting and serving, people suffering from anxiety and PTSD
3.To implement a volunteer-based equine welfare investigation program that gives the general public the opportunity to report equine welfare issues anonymously.
