Zcash Foundation

Mission

To help sustain and improve open financial networks that allow anyone and everyone to protect their own privacy, on their own terms. While our primary focus is the Zcash protocol and blockchain, we also support broader applications of zero-knowledge proofs, as well as other approaches to financial privacy.

Vision

The Zcash Foundation envisions a world where financial privacy is a normalized, fundamental human right embedded into the core of global digital infrastructure. Their long-term goal is to transform Zcash into an "unstoppable," decentralized utility that provides a secure, privacy-by-default alternative to the transparency flaws of traditional finance and early blockchains.
