Confikids Inc.
Mission
Founded in 2017, ConfiKids, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that addresses the need for all children, regardless of financial limitations, to enroll in enrichment, recreational, sports, and arts programming. Programs that engage children and teach them a new talent or help to advance their ability in a skill they already possess create an environment for children to form friendships on mutual interests, adds to a child’s well-being on countless levels, and most importantly at our core builds a child’s self-confidence.
Vision
Our vision for ConfiKids would focus on empowering every child with the confidence to dream, grow, and thrive by ensuring access to life-enriching arts, sports and enrichment opportunities—regardless of financial circumstances—so they can become resilient, capable adults who uplift their communities.
Goals
- 1.Our goal is to provide children from financially disadvantaged families with opportunities to build confidence and form social connections through shared interests. We invest in each child's growth, ensuring continued support when needed. With increased funding, we can reach more children across Southeastern Massachusetts, expanding access and opportunities throughout the region.
- 2.We’re committed to expanding access for underserved children, leveling the playing field in a “pay-to-play” world. While children from wealthier families have abundant opportunities, many are left behind due to financial barriers. Our goal is to create change by providing these children with opportunities to thrive.
- 3.Now in its eighth year, our organization remains committed to serving as many children as possible. As our workload grows, we've prioritized infrastructure, technology, and financial sustainability. We've expanded our team, hiring staff, a grant writer, and a bookkeeper, while also seizing new opportunities to strengthen our organizational foundation for long-term growth.
