    Mission

    Boston Impact Initiative (BII) is a nonprofit impact investment fund and certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that invests in people and places building community ownership, shared wealth, and economic power, particularly in communities of color. We provide entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and community-owned enterprises with fair and flexible capital, culturally relevant training, and trusted networks, advancing inclusive local economies and building lasting community wealth. BII is transforming impact investing through field-building and education for entrepreneurs and fellow investors, fund managers and philanthropists who want to build a just and sustainable economy in which all communities can thrive for generations to come. Our vision is a future where every community has the resources and power to create shared prosperity.
