Vision

The aim of this organization is to provide research validated strategies and methods to increase the quality of life of individuals and families through a variety of services. The services of this organization are designed to work collaboratively to provide a seamless model of support from birth through elder care. Pittsburgh Behavioral Services is focused on a commitment to continued growth and development through partnering with researchers and university personnel to develop innovative ways of addressing individual problems.

Goals

1. 1.From its inception, PBS desires to create a new service model that allows children to grow in their skills exponentially. Over the past 3 years, we have diligently been refining that model through the Pgh ABA School, growing from a preschool classroom to two elementary classrooms for students in grades K-3rd and 4th-7th grade.
2. 2.We hired a professional with over 20 years of experience in non-profit organizational development. The focus of this job includes building financial sustainabilty through multiple revenue streams, diversifying and further developing of the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with all federal and state policies and developing systems for the management team to function effectively.
3. 3.Our model is unique to our field. The founder invests much of her time training other professionals in this field and advocating in our community for our population. We are developing an online educational portal, manuals and in-person trainings to share our findings with professionals in the education and behavioral fields.
