Vision

Ouy objectives are as follows: 1. To advance the education of the public at large by the establishment of a museum and associated collections.
 2. Without prejudice to the generality of the above, to advance the education of the public by the management, operation and development of the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 and the preservation, conservation and interpretation of the collections 3. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities and resources for the training of persons for employment in the museum sector, including, but not limited to, curators; 
 4. Pursue such other charitable purposes consistent under the board of directors in their absolute discretion set forth in the Bylaws for Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66.

Goals

1. 1.As a relatively new museum our focus is on increased capacity. Growing our staff while continuing to repair and renovate the museum building
2. 2.A continued effort to bring new programs to the museum in the space set aside for music education programs such as music instrument lessons, sound and lighting engineering, copyright and trademark laws, and music business classes
3. 3.Our museum also focuses on community not only through educational programs but also through economic development through tourism that attracts visitors from around the world to not only our museum but also local restaurants, hotels and other businesses.
