Vision

MatchDog Rescue is a personal foster-based canine rescue community in Southern New Jersey with a vision to save abandoned dogs of all ages from unwarranted euthanasia. We rescue, match, and rehome these loving souls as companion animals in an effort to end overpopulation and abuse. Our rescue organization is run entirely by volunteers, providing temporary safe homes through our volunteer foster program and advocate on behalf of the dogs in crisis as well and enforcing their rights

Goals

1. 1.One of the goals of MatchDog Rescue is to reducing the overpopulation and euthanasia in the high-kill shelters of Texas by intaking and transporting dogs to NJ for adoption.
2. 2.A second goal has been to make our adoption application easier to complete and our fees affordable such that anyone that wants a dog is not inhibited by the upfront cost of a dog.
3. 3.Our third goal is to improve the efficiency of our physical plant. We are very short on space and wish to improve our productivity and ability to bring more dogs, thus saving more lives.
