Mission

TO CONSERVE AND RESTORE WILD AND WORKING LANDS IN OREGON'S HIGH DESERT FOR WILDLIFE AND PEOPLE, AND PROVIDE COMMON GROUND TO IMPROVE CLIMATE RESILIENCE, WILDLIFE CONNECTIVITY, HABITAT RESTORATION, INNOVATIVE GRAZING PRACTICES, CULTURAL PRESERVATION, AND PUBLIC ACCESS ACROSS OREGON'S HIGH DESERT.

Maintain connectivity between working and wild lands in Oregon's last great open spaces.

Goals

1.Conserve ecological and cultural values on private properties and surrounding public lands to benefit wildlife and people.
2.Create meaningful Tribal engagement that recognizes and honors the history of the Northern Paiute people in the region and grow collaborative working relationships with local farmers and ranchers.
3.Expand access to thousands of acres of private and public lands throughout Oregon's high desert.
