Whiskers and Tails exists to rescue animals that are abused, neglected, and homeless, or in danger of being euthanized at area shelters. Our desire is to assist owners keep their animals by providing training, resources and alternate solutions to shelter surrender. We help provide foster homes, as well as necessary medical care for these animals, and help place them into permanent adoptive homes. We aim to educate the public on animal care, and promote the importance of spay/neuter for companion animals. Our ultimate goal is to work towards a day where there is no longer a need to euthanize companion animals.

West Texas Whiskers and Tails Animal Sanctuary cannot be rated because Charity Navigator has not received the public data required to create a star rating.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
