Vision

The Laramie Soup Kitchen strives to increase access to quality, nutritious food so that every person who is hungry or alone may share a meal without cost.

Goals

1. 1.Improve food security for all those in the community who are in need by increasing local retailer partnerships and distributing food to additional nonprofits. Specific goals for 2025 are to increase food donations above 200,000 lbs (185,500 in 2024) and redistribute more than 50,000 lbs to partner organizations. Hot meals served are expected to increase as well.
2. 2.Work towards the vision for a new facility featuring triple the dining capacity, a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, and a dedicated warehouse to help meet the growing demand for wholesome meals. The Soup Kitchen envisions this new property as a collaborative nonprofit hub, providing space for multiple other organizations offering essential services to the same vulnerable population.
