Vision

Our vision is one in which ministry thrives because ministry staff thrives. They need secure affordable housing to thrive. We come up with ways to make that happen.

Goals

1. 1.Scale our Down Payment Assistance Program. We have closed 7 deals and 3 are underway. We want to attract capital for a blind pool that Aslan can deploy to help pastors. While we successfully help pastors raise millions in capital, not every pastor has access to wealthy patrons able to invest or donate. We want to help all pastors regardless of their need or the capacity of their congregations.
2. 2.Grow our Consulting Program. We have helped dozens of churches and ministries develop Housing Policies. These provide clarity to staff, are transparent and values-driven, and inspire confidence in donors and investors. Housing is a huge HR issue and for organizations to ignore it is a recruitment and retention issue. To solve it in an ad hoc manner is not good stewardship.
3. 3.Expand our Housing Marketplace. Aslan has a Got Housing? Need Housing? matching service for property owners and ministry staff. Often, in the moment, an available housing resource is nested in one congregation but is needed by another organization's staff. Creating a clearinghouse is an efficient way to break down the silos.
