The mission of Rachel's Gate is to provide a safe, loving, peaceful home for senior, sick, and handicapped dogs. We adopt dogs who have been abandoned or left in shelters to die and we provide them with nutritious food, veterinary care, comfortable bedding, and a lot of love.
No dog should die alone! We want to prevent senior, sick, and handicapped dogs from dying alone in a shelter or being euthanized simply for being old or sick. We adopt the dogs no one wants and give them love until they pass away. We provide veterinary care to keep them as healthy and comfortable as possible. Some dogs are with us for a few months, and some are with us for a few years.
