Mission

To make medically relevant scientific discoveries using an educational platform that embraces equality and empowers participants to contribute ideas, life experience and experimental data to improve disease treatment. Our vision is a transformation of the current biomedical workforce to include the life experiences of scientists from every racial, ethnic, and economic background. Our participants are primarily students who have been marginalized from research, preventing intentional efforts to address health disparities that impact underserved communities. Through professional research training, we provide students with the confidence, technical skills, research literacy, and network to ensure not only their success in STEM, but employability in biomedical careers.
