Vision

Our vision is to see each captive set free from a life of slavery to experience the true joy of reaching their greatest potential in every area of life.

Goals

1. 1.Currently, JOY International is heavily focused on strengthening our three primary programs - Mukti International Home for survivors in Nepal, Yasha Home for survivors in Belize, and preventative support for at-risk girls in Uganda. While education and advocacy is also important to us, the majority of our fundraising efforts go to building up and supporting these in-country programs.
2. 2.JOY works steadfastly to improve the lives of all the individuals we serve, and expand to help as many people as possible. JOY is working towards opening a community center for vulnerable communities in Uganda that will expand the population we serve in that area. We work closely with individuals living in-country to help us understand how we can best help them to succeed in their work.
3. 3.There is a lot of misinformation about human trafficking, and JOY works to help people both in the US and internationally to learn not only what it is, but how to recognize it, and how to prevent it. JOY also provides training and learning opportunities for our in-country staff and staff at other local organizations in our countries of service to help them work most compassionately with survivors.
