The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: SRM provides low-barrier, life saving care to local people experiencing homelessness. These services include, safe shelter, nutritious meals, access to restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, and a safe space to be out of the elements. This year, SRM expects to provide essential services to 5,000+ local people in need, including overnight shelter for 3,200 of those.
Goal Two: SRM invites homeless clients to opt in to vocational and life skills training as part of their journey toward self-sustainability. Clients can one of three job training tracks: Culinary Arts, Facilities, or Warehouse and Distribution. While in job training, clients learn marketable job skills and soft skills to help them retain employment. SRM anticipates equipping 450 clients with job skills.
Goal Three: Through partner agency resources and its on-site housing navigation efforts, SRM connects homeless clients to stable housing. SRM expects to connect 200 clients to permanent housing in the coming year.
