Our Values We believe every child has a right to an education, regardless of their last name or appearance. We believe every culture deserves respect and dignity. We believe in the Santal people: we have seen one school begin to lift an entire community. We believe every child who achieves their full potential helps the whole human family prosper. We believe in fighting prejudice and systemic marginalization, and building inclusive economies. We believe in inciting hope and creating generational change.

Goals

1. 1.Furnish the first high school, a modern, fully-equipped building for extended educational opportunities at St Xavier’s Gurap. This model K-12 school will serve 1,200 students.
2. 2.To accommodate another huge influx of high school students, we need: a new kitchen and refectory, science and computer labs, more teachers and tutors, and additions to the boys’ and (new) girls’ dorms
3. 3.Projected Grassroots Change Literacy, Fluency in Bengali, High School diploma, vocational school and grades 11 and 12, Increased self-confidence and pride in tribal identity
