Vision

Persist Nashville empowers first-generation college students to achieve their postsecondary goals by providing skilled coaching during the first two years of their student’s college journey, regardless of the type of institution they attend. Since 2019, Persist Nashville has served more than 4,300 students along their postsecondary journey and its students have achieved an 86% college persistence rate.

Goals

1. 1.Persist provides two unique coaching programs that support students through the most common periods when students abandon their postsecondary plans: 1) college matriculation and 2) the first two years of college. By providing high-quality professional coaching, Persist positions students to be able to participate fully in our growing Nashville.
2. 2.Persist Nashville is celebrating its 5 years of empowering first-generation students to graduate college. As we enter this milestone, we are focused on building long-term sustainability to continue impacting Nashville's future. Our goal is to ensure lasting support for students, empowering them to succeed in college and their careers for years to come.
3. 3.Persist Nashville is committed to expanding its fee-for-service offerings, including college enrollment coaching and investment in improving our technology platform to service students. With a proven track record of success, we're excited to grow to collaborate across the country to help other organizations support students in their college and career journeys.
