Lyra

Mission

Lyra incubates and accelerates high-impact education initiatives that tackle some of the biggest challenges facing education, deeply rooted in diverse and inclusive community voices. We are working to ensure that all students—especially those in rural and underrepresented communities—graduate climate-literate, prepared for climate-resilient careers, and equipped to build a more sustainable future. We create the policy, partnerships, and systems necessary so every student can learn, lead, and make meaningful change in their communities.

Vision

An education system that is responsive to the ideas and needs of students and educators.

Goals

1.Expand the reach and impact of the Seal of Climate Literacy across and beyond Colorado and into new states around the United States.
2.Strengthen resilient education pathways by testing and developing actionable tools, frameworks, and partnerships that connect education pathways to climate-resilient jobs in Colorado and capture learnings to inform national approaches.
3.Ensure Lyra’s long-term sustainability through diversified funding, strong governance, and clear organizational identity that supports growth, responsiveness, and a foundation for national impact.
