Mission

Compass Arts Creativity Project creates integrative, inventive, arts-based programs for the purpose of building community in the broadest sense. As a creativity project, we believe that communities are stronger when problem solving skills are encouraged at every age level and that the best way to build problem solving skills is through the development of creativity. Our classes, ensembles, events and camps achieve this by being inquiry-focused and based in process and exploration. Through creative arts exploration students are given opportunities to think, to think for themselves and to feel empowered by their own contributions to a work, an experience, or a solution. This is the essence of what we do at Compass Arts; we provide opportunities for the widest possible spectrum of contributions, and those contributions allow students to evolve into something the world desperately needs--individuals with vision.
