Chandler Youth Theatre
Mission
Chandler Youth Theatre aims to cultivate an inclusive learning environment where youth from all backgrounds can pursue theater, create art, and collaborate in a production. Chandler Youth Theatre strives to produce both quality productions and positive theater experiences by teaching children to respect the space, respect the instructors and each other, and, most of all, to respect themselves. We operate as a no-cut theatre, ensuring that every participant gets a part in our productions.
Vision
Chandler Youth Theatre envisions a future where every child, regardless of background or financial means, has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of theater. We aspire to create a thriving, inclusive arts community where all young performers can develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills through accessible, high-quality theater education. By expanding our reach, removing barriers to participation, and fostering a love for the performing arts, we aim to empower the next generation of storytellers, leaders, and artists.
Goals
- 1.Chandler Youth Theatre is expanding to reach 1,000 children by increasing the number of full-scale productions, adding more casts per show, and offering additional classes and workshops. With more opportunities in acting, singing, dance, and improv, we are ensuring that more young performers can participate, learn, and grow through the arts in an inclusive, no-cut environment.
- 2.Chandler Youth Theatre is aiming for an 80% earned, 20% contributed revenue model to enhance financial sustainability and increase community involvement. By diversifying funding, we can reduce tuition costs, expand scholarships, and make theater more accessible while maintaining high-quality programming. This shift allows us to engage donors, sponsors, and grants to support our mission.
- 3.Chandler Youth Theatre is committed to creating a state-of-the-art facility where children can explore all aspects of theater. This includes investments in technical equipment, upgraded performance spaces, and enhanced classroom resources. By providing a cutting-edge learning environment, we ensure young performers gain experience with professional-grade lighting, sound, set design, and more.
