CAPS envisions a world in which every student has a pathway to pursue a fulfilling career in the green economy and the opportunity to attend climate-resilient, healthy, and sustainable schools.

Goals

1. 1.Scale the number of California districts that CAPS is concurrently supporting, investing in regional hubs and focusing on districts in communities that are disproportionally impacted by climate change.
2. 2.Deliver equitable & effective programs: 1) Offer programming that supports all students, with an emphasis on addressing underrepresentation in green careers. 2) Align our programs to help school districts implement climate-resilient practices while preparing students for green careers.
3. 3.Cultivate strategic partnerships & offer expert guidance: 1) Foster industry partnerships that provide high-quality operational supports to districts, and training and career opportunities for students. 2) Contribute to state and national dialogue on climate-resilient schools and green workforce development, helping to shape policy.
