Mission

The mission of the Youth Aviation Diversity Foundation is to put minority youth into an aviation career by fostering and developing their skills with professional training, and offering personal and professional mentorship. At the Youth Aviation Diversity Foundation, we teach kids to fly. Literally. We help them soar; allowing them reach their dreams of becoming certified pilots. The Youth Aviation Diversity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Operating in San Diego County, YADF introduces minority children and young adults to the fields of aviation through hands-on flight experiences. In addition to providing community outreach to children in grades 4-12, YADF utilizes a STEM interdisciplinary approach to learning that captivates the minds of participants unlike any other
