Mycelium Youth Network

Mission

Mycelium Youth Network, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, prepares youth for hopeful and imaginative leadership in climate adaptation, mitigation, and resilience. Since 2013, we have worked across Oakland and San Francisco’s frontline communities of color to cultivate youth agency and build power for climate action and transformation.

Vision

We envision a climate just world where all youth grow up in cultural and ancestral communities of belonging.

Goals

1.We are seeking financial support to fund the development and deepening of our hands-on climate resilient curricula at school sites across the Bay Area and in the state of California.
2.We are so excited to be extending our Youth Leadership Council high school internship program into its second year and are seeking support to fund our youth leaders' climate action plans.
3.As our programming grows rapidly, we are calling in new team members to join our staff, as well as new internal systems to strengthen communications and project implementation within Mycelium.
