Mission

AlignCare is a national, community-funded, One Health system that helps care for pets and the well-being of the families who love them. AlignCare was founded through the University of Tennessee Program for Pet Health Equity in 2016 to address the interconnected need for accessible healthcare for communities, people and pets. Veterinary Service Providers graciously offer subsidized rates to AlignCare families. AlignCare covers 80% of the veterinary costs and the families cover the remaining 20% at the time services are rendered. AlignCares approach is supported by our partners - veterinary service providers, veterinary social workers, animal welfare organizations, social services, public health agencies, and other professionals, serving the entire family and the community at large.
