A future where people are met with care instead of punishment, and where underlying needs like mental health, addiction, and education are addressed before incarceration begins.

Goals

1. 1.Expand our storytelling program by increasing the number of incarcerated contributors, publishing more first-person narratives, and reaching broader audiences to strengthen understanding between people inside prison and the outside community.
2. 2.Advance public understanding of incarceration through storytelling, media, and community engagement, helping shift perceptions and reduce stigma while elevating the voices and lived experiences of people inside prison.
3. 3.Strengthen organizational capacity by increasing funding, building strategic partnerships, and developing systems that allow us to scale our work, support more incarcerated voices, and expand our impact nationwide.
