Vision

We envision a future where the contributions of non-employee creative workers are recognized—not just for their entertainment value, but for their hard work and economic impact. We strive for a time when these workers, along with all nontraditional workers, are provided with the benefits and support they need to thrive, enabling them to contribute to society on par with the value they bring.

Goals

1. 1.Given our community-driven, data-forward approach, RFC has been exceedingly effective in our impact, often surpassing proposed goals. To continute elevating these efforts, we are emplying a comprehensive stregtic fundraising campaign to secure consistent, substantial resource. In this way we can retain the team needed to facilitate and scale these programs to sustain efficacy.
2. 2.For years, our programs have centered on empowering workers to advocate for themselves. However, thanks to community feedback, we've added programmatic expansion to our strategic plan. We're teaching decision-makers and investors, those who set the work environment tone, how to adopt more equitable, inclusive, worker-supportive, and family-friendly practices.
3. 3.The success of our strategic plan relies heavily on expanding and strengthening our coalition. While we've had success finding changemakers, identifying champions, amplifiers, connectors, and funding partners has been more challenging. With input from our coalition partners, we've improved our outreach efforts to diversify candidates and enhance our chances of success.
