Vision

Our vision is to foster a community of exceptionally trained doulas and eliminate the gap in maternal-infant health disparities and inequities that disproportionately impacts Black, Indigenous and Latine communities.

Goals

1. 1.We aim to strengthen organizational sustainability & administrative capacity primarily by enhancing internal systems for payroll, claims, data, communications, and program reporting.
2. 2.We aim to expand and support the community-based doula workforce by increasing the number of doulas credentialed, trained, and actively serving Oregon families and bolstering reflective supervision and professional development supports to ensure doulas are confident, prepared, and sustainably supported in their work.
3. 3.We aim to improve health equity and access for Medicaid-enrolled families by expanding services across multiple CCOs to support families from pregnancy through postpartum, with a focus on communities most impacted by disparities and maintaining culturally grounded care models that uplift Black, Brown, immigrant, refugee, and multilingual families.
