The ECT Foundation Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to educational and charitable purposes related to preservation and enhancement of the historic nature and character of The Edgewood Club of Tivoli in Red Hook, New York, including, but not limited to, the preservation and maintenance of its historic assets. In addition to providing financial support, the Foundation plays a strategic role as a catalyst for understanding and supporting the Edgewood Club’s evolution in its historic context. Through engaging initiatives such as tours, lectures, and informational events that shed light on the Club’s storied past, including its landscape, the Foundation aims to ignite a newfound appreciation for the Club’s rich heritage, among its members as well as the local community.

To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
