Vision

At the heart of A New Leaf’s mission “Helping Families, Changing Lives” is the vision of a community where everyone has access to resources that support their well-being and empower personal growth to promote housing stability. Each service division articulates a unique vision aligned with this overarching goal.

Goals

1. 1.Strengthen alignment around core mission areas by focusing on shelter, housing, DV/SV services, and stability programs. Streamline or consolidate non-core activities, integrate programs for greater impact, and ensure resources support the most effective, mission-critical services.
2. 2.Build organizational capacity to support long-term sustainability. Strengthen leadership infrastructure, enhance staff development, expand data/evaluation systems, implement EOS for stronger operations, and grow financial resilience through philanthropy, partnerships, and efficient program management.
3. 3.Expand access to affordable and supportive housing by transitioning La Mesita and Homeward Bound emergency units into long-term housing, developing new transitional shelter units, and increasing rental assistance and stability services. Strengthen pathways from crisis to housing and scale services to meet rising community demand through strategic allocation of resources.
