Into the Wild

Mission

We provide substance abuse counseling and other therapeutic services to women in an outdoor behavioral healthcare setting. We combine the beneficial effects of gentle yoga, nutritional education, art therapy, with outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking, conservation activities, and small-group therapy with the goal of increasing self-confidence, building resilience, and improving the self-reliance posture of our clients.

Vision

We are first and foremost, change agents in our community. By confronting the horrific realities that women who affected by Substance Use Disorders, we are able to create therapeutic modalities that directly improve the lives of our clients.

Goals

1.To continue to improve the quality and scope of our core programs so as to serve a larger percentage of our target population.
2.To expand our marketing and community visibility as arenas means of increasing our donor engagement and our financial health.
3.As a continuing process of evaluation, we will enhance the quality of our core programs by adding professional staff, expand our data-driven practices, and by expanding our best practice offerings.
