Mission

The American Graffiti Museum (TAG) inspires, educates, and connects people through the understanding of graffiti and street art. TAG is the cultural home for celebrating the worldwide impact of the people, places, and forms of expression that influence and have been influenced by graffiti and street art.

Vision

TAG will be the cultural home for graffiti and street art, documenting the worldwide impact of this art across time and place, highlighting the people who create it, and exploring its role in society

Goals

1.We are building a new first-of-its-kind museum. All of our activities are designed to build out capacity, build our networks, and design our infrastructure and operations.
2.There is currently no full-scale, nonprofit museum dedicated to graffiti, street art, and related art forms in the United States. TAG will fill this gap in the regional and national arts and culture landscape.
