Building a community where language is more accessible to individuals who are Deaf, hard-of-hearing, or have limited English proficiency.

Goals

1. 1.As a new nonprofit in our first year of operation, Global Interpreting Cares’ first goal is to build strong internal procedures that support effective communication and education. By establishing clear policies, training standards, and workflows, we will equip staff and volunteers to better serve diverse communities and ensure language access for all.
2. 2.Signed Language Storybook Initiative is an educational project designed to expand equitable language access for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Autistic, and Down Syndrome learners across the United States. This initiative is a digital library of ASL-interpreted children’s storybooks for use in schools, childcare programs, libraries, and homes nationwide.
