Mission

Mixed Behavior Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting health equity and social and emotional wellness through trauma-informed mental health advocacy. Our mission is to provide underserved youth and young adults aged 4 to 25, including formerly incarcerated, unhoused, and transitional-aged youth, with positive outlets, quality programs, and intentional resources that support healing, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. Focused on the California Regions and beyond, we strive to enhance the livelihood of our community by offering programs in athletics, mental wellness, creative arts, and reentry housing. At the core of our mission is the commitment to creating safe spaces where individuals can release and heal from trauma caused by systemic negligence, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of our community and beyond.
