Watch Duty

Mission

WATCH DUTY IS A NON-PARTISAN AND NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON DISSEMINATING PUBLIC SAFETY INFORMATION IN REAL-TIME FROM VERIFIED SOURCES.

Vision

Make emergency information accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Goals

1.Become a household name-We’re on a mission to make Watch Duty as essential as the weather app, something everyone has on their phone before disaster strikes. To ensure people know about Watch Duty before disaster strikes, we’ll drive adoption through public education campaigns, localized outreach, and strategic partnerships, especially in communities that are too often left behind.
2.Expand our geographic and disaster coverage-We’re scaling our proven wildfire alerts to cover floods, earthquakes, and more, nationwide and eventually globally.
3.Fortify our foundation and invest in the future-Build the operational, legal, and strategic infrastructure to support transformative growth, while laying the groundwork to expand our reach, readiness, and relevance for years to come.
