North Palm Youth Symphony Inc.
Mission
The North Palm Youth Symphony is a 501(c)3 educational organization dedicated to providing students a world class string education and orchestral experience in an inclusive, positive and nurturing environment. Since 2021, the North Palm Youth Symphony has been committed to offering students access to a world class string education and orchestral experience. We serve over 120 families with children ages 8-18+, and we are dedicated to providing students access to a world class string education, which most do not have in their schools. With over 120 students from over 30 different schools served, we are growing young artists in a safe and nurturing environment. We foster their musical and personal growth, giving students opportunities to grow musical, academic and leadership abilities through our various program components such as rehearsals, concerts, volunteer and mentorship opportunities. Inclusivity is key to who we are, and NO student is ever turned away, we continually source and provide students with instruments and tuition scholarships to insure every child has access to the instruction. Our comprehensive program ensures every child with the desire to learn is served, and our open policy ensures inclusivity, accessibility, and opportunities for every family wishing to have this type of experience.
Vision
To create a community where every child, regardless of background, has access to transformative music education, fostering the next generation of leaders and artists who inspire and connect through the universal language of music.
Goals
- 1.Goal 1: Expand Access to Music Education One of our primary objectives is to increase access to high-quality music education for students from diverse backgrounds, especially those in underserved communities.
- 2.Goal 2: Enhance and increase Instructional Quality We aim to increase the educational impact of our program by hiring professionals who will provide specialized, focused instruction for our students.
- 3.Goal 3: Foster Leadership and Mentorship Opportunities Through our Volunteer-to-Mentor program, we will empower high school students to take on teaching and leadership roles within the orchestra.
