Vision

Upright Wellness Center's vision, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution and physical therapy clinic. We aim to provide professionals and patients with a multidisciplinary approach, in theory and practice, towards bodywork modalities and therapeutic care for active military, veterans, their families and the community at large.

Goals

1. 1.According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, chronic pain affects over 50% of veterans, often leading to long-term disability. Many veterans struggle to find accessible, integrative healthcare services that address their unique physical needs. There is a shortage of programs that train healthcare professionals in veteran-specific, integrative wellness techniques. We intend to change this.
2. 2.Veterans' physical challenges extend beyond themselves, affecting the well-being of their loved ones who support them daily.
3. 3.UWC will offer a unique combination of physical, educational, and wellness services tailored to veterans' specific needs, with an emphasis on supporting their families. Our continuing education programs equip practitioners with the skills to provide holistic integrative care, filling a critical gap in current healthcare offerings. We intend to invest in our program to build capacity.
