    Our mission is to provide free medical care and related services to pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Using a One Health approach to street medicine, we care for the mental and physical health on both ends of the leash.

    The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
    In the past 12 months, SDC has added 6 part time staff members in order to strengthen our organization and best service both our clients and our volunteers. These internal changes were approved by the board, and have provided additional support to our previously sole employee, our Executive Director.
