Mission

The specific purpose for which the corporation is organized is to teach and preach the gospel to all people; to educate, equip, and empower individuals and organizations with the tools necessary to identify and prevent human trafficking; to provide services and resources for human trafficking survivors, to facilitate rehabilitation through various forms of support and to also engage in activities which are necessary, suitable or convenient for the accomplishment of that purpose, or which are incidental thereto or connected therewith which are consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for religious and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code.

Vision

The vision of Safe in the Panhandle is to live in a world free of exploitation. Our mission will be complete when all human life is viewed as valued and irreplaceable. The team at Safe view each day as an opportunity to impact the world and reinforce the fact that human trafficking is everyone's fight. A world free of trafficking begins and ends with all of us.

Goals

For 2025 Safe in the Panhandle has prioritized hotel, law enforcement, first responder and the field of education for training. We have developed a State of Florida approved curriculum for the hospitality industry and will award certificates for each training completed.
2.Safe evaluates each activity for effectiveness. This process will impact areas of growth or elimination in order to have the greatest impact on our mission.
3.Safe is in the process of securing volunteers and future staff whose areas of expertise will lend much to our work. The areas of media, technology and increasing our presence and recognition in the community are paramount.
