Mission

The Barx Parx Foundation’s mission is to promote animal adoption, help dogs find their forever homes and encourage responsible pet ownership and care by educating pet parents, supporting rescue organizations, animal shelters and other non-profit causes at a national level.

Vision

The Foundation does not operate a shelter, we act as an umbrella organization assisting other not for profit entities that are helping pets find forever homes in our community every day.

Goals

1.The Foundation supports local nonprofits through targeted funding, maximizing resources for frontline programs. By focusing on core programs, we limit overhead and maximize impact.
2.The Foundation directs over 90% of expenditures to nonprofits by operating with low overhead through volunteers and strategic partnerships for in-kind resources.
3.The Foundation leverages its core partnership with the Barx Parx dog park to support local nonprofits aligned with members' interests, while maintaining highly efficient operations.
