Mission
The Angellyh Yambo Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to preventing gun violence by advancing education, youth empowerment, public awareness, and community engagement. We work to build safer communities throughout The Bronx, New York, and across the nation by partnering with schools, community organizations, families, and service providers to advance prevention strategies and expand opportunities for youth. Our youth-focused programs and community initiatives educate, equip, and empower the next generation while strengthening the resources and protective factors that contribute to their growth and development. We are committed to ensuring that no family experiences the pain and loss our family has endured. By expanding education, strengthening collaboration, and inspiring action, we strive to create neighborhoods where children and teens have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to build positive futures.
