Goals

1. 1.Prevent Accidental Infant and Child Deaths Through Education: Expand access to evidence-based infant safety and child injury prevention education through Safe Start, ensuring families and caregivers have the knowledge and resources needed to reduce preventable injuries and deaths.
2. 2.Strengthen Support for Families After a Child Has Died: Provide compassionate, trauma-informed support through Healing Together to families whose babies and children have died, reducing isolation and helping families navigate grief with dignity, connection, and care.
3. 3.Build a Sustainable and Trusted Organization: Strengthen organizational capacity by diversifying funding, growing community partnerships, and investing in systems that ensure NISSA’s programs remain accessible, responsive, and sustainable for the long term.
