That HIV-positive children, families, and adults flourish with dignity and self-worth in the face of isolation and rejection.

Goals

1. 1.Over 770 children through adults are newly diagnosed with HIV per year in the Pacific Northwest. 2025-2028 initiative: Welcome 100 additional HIV-positive people into REACH, from 155 at the beginning of 2025 (plus 326 family members; 481 in all) to 255 (plus their family members) by the end of 2028.
2. 2.Mutual referral relationships between REACH and medical and social services providers promote improved medical, mental, and social health outcomes. 2025-2028 initiative: Establish 12 additional partnerships with clinics, agencies, and social workers who will refer patients and clients to REACH, and vice versa.
3. 3.Even those with HIV their whole lives often do not know all the facts about HIV and feel ill-equipped to disclose their status to partners and family, resulting in fear or discouragement. 2025-2028 initiatives: Grow support groups by 30%. Incorporate education about adherence to HIV treatment plans, self-care, and combatting anxiety and depression into support groups and mentoring.
