The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: In 2024, we evaluated programs to ensure authentic service. This Q1 process led to strategic decisions, including appointing a new program manager to align our work. We assessed programs for impact & ROI, scaling back or cutting those ineffective. We formed committees to drive core initiatives and streamlined messaging to focus on Digital Literacy, Financial Education, & Career Support Services.
Goal Two: In 2024, we launched an advocacy plan, focusing on educating local, state, and federal representatives about our work. Our Executive Director, who sits on the Economic Opportunities Committee for the Washington State Women’s Commission, was appointed as a Commissioner in August 2024. These efforts highlight our dedication to advancing our advocacy work and mission.
Goal Three: In 2024, we focused on client surveys and feedback to identify new program needs. With changes in technology, especially AI, and shifts in work styles like remote work and entrepreneurial opportunities, we are adjusting our programs to match community needs. This ensures we provide relevant and authentic support based on what our community values most.
