The Museum envisions a world where diverse cultures unite to drive systemic change, fostering inclusive communities and advancing sustainable solutions for the world’s most vulnerable populations.

Goals

1. 1.MPCE preserves and uses Peace Corps stories to educate and inspire the public. Its goals include building a permanent space, producing quality exhibitions, expanding digital and in-person programming, and developing a collection reflecting both volunteers and the communities served. It seeks to broaden its reach beyond the Peace Corps community and engage diverse (especially young) audiences.
2. 2.MPCE is strengthening its financial foundation through diversified fundraising, partnerships, and a robust membership program. It is investing in staff, governance, collections management, and digital infrastructure while expanding its impact through exhibitions, partner relationships, outreach to schools and community, and ensuring that all programs and stories reflect inclusivity and belonging.
