A world where no Bernese Mountain Dog is left without a safe, loving home.

Goals

1. 1.Develop a major donor cultivation program, expand foundation grant relationships, and pursue formal veterinary partnerships to reduce per-dog costs. Ensure NBMDRN's financial model can sustain growing rescue volume without reliance on any single funding source.
2. 2.Grow and retain the trained foster volunteer pipeline to eliminate end-of-year waitlists. Foster homes are the foundation of every rescue — expanding capacity directly increases the number of dogs we can pull from crisis and place into permanent homes.
3. 3.Position NBMDRN as the national voice for Bernese Mountain Dog welfare through BMDCA engagement, law enforcement partnerships, breeder accountability work, and public education — addressing the upstream conditions that create the crisis we respond to.
