Mission

We were formed by long-term volunteers to advocate for and assist the dogs of our local county dog shelter. As LCDK is self-funded - not utilizing tax dollars - our mission is to provide funding for needs inside the kennel - enrichment items, supplies -and assistance with training, vetting and care for both dogs in the shelter and those pulled by rescue groups, in hopes of allowing those groups to do more with their funds.
