Vision

BSEA envisions self-sustaining communities across the country that lead their own development, where capital flows equitably, neighborhood revitalization builds generational wealth without displacement, and thriving, inclusive ecosystems are rooted in ownership, stability, shared prosperity, and long-term resilience.

Goals

1. 1.We drive execution, scale, and measurable impact by helping cohorts complete projects and launching a new affordable housing cohort each year. RiSE aims to expand regionally, increase the number of affordable units, strengthen developer readiness, improve access to capital, and advance equitable, sustainable community development.
2. 2.BSEA will strengthen its capacity to scale RiSE through stronger operations, financial systems, partnerships, and data infrastructure. Priorities include improving program management, aligning capital partners, expanding staff and governance support, and building impact tracking systems that sustain growth, deepen coordination, and support long-term community impact.
3. 3.BSEA will deepen partnerships, advocacy, and community engagement to advance equitable development and community-rooted housing. By aligning public, private, and philanthropic partners, advocating for fairer access to land, capital, and approvals, and engaging neighborhood voices, BSEA will help build a stronger ecosystem for inclusive, sustainable community investment.
