At the Greater Saint Louis Sudanese Community Corporation (STL Sudanese), we envision a future where the Sudanese community in the Greater Saint Louis area thrives, empowered by educational opportunities, strong support networks, and humanitarian aid. Our vision extends beyond immediate community support, aiming to foster a deep and widespread appreciation for Sudanese culture and traditions across the nation. Our vision is a community where every Sudanese individual in Greater Saint Louis has access to the resources and support they need to succeed, and where their cultural heritage is celebrated and respected. Beyond our locality, we strive to set a national example of how education and humanitarian efforts can create a more equitable and connected world. In this future, STL Sudanese is at the forefront of promoting equality, understanding, and mutual respect, paving the way for a society where everyone, regardless of their background, can thrive together in harmony.

Goals

1. 1.Community Empowerment and Educational Opportunities Project: Sudanese Educational Resource Center o Year 1: Secure location, develop partnerships, hire staff, define curriculum o Year 2: Launch tutoring, mentorship, and basic workshops o Year 3-5: Expand workshops (advanced topics), increase scholarship aid, evaluate impact
2. 2.Cultural Appreciation and Celebration Project: Sudanese Cultural Festival o Year 1: Planning committee, venue, initial outreach, secure smaller-scale event o Year 2: First full-scale festival o Year 3-5: Grow attendance, broaden activities, measure community engagement
