COMFORT BEARS IN A CATASTROPHE

Mission

Comfort Bears in a Catastrophe is a 501c3 nonprofit that supports children impacted by disasters. Our mission is to bring comfort, hope, and healing to children affected by gifting teddy bears and encouraging cards with access to 24/7 free, professional counseling. Our Miss Prepared + Captain Ready book series further empowers young minds in the community with life-saving disaster preparedness skills.

Vision

To ensure every child receives the comfort and support they desperately need after a disaster.

Goals

1.With such a large amount of disasters, millions of people are impacted each year, which is why one of our goals is to continue expanding to help as many as possible.
2.Grow our kids disaster preparedness book series to increase disaster preparedness and save lives.
3.Increase access to our programming by increasing storage abilities as we help more people.
