Our vision is to empower all Black and historically excluded communities through economic justice, education, and access, creating a future where equity and opportunity thrive.

Goals

1. 1.AACSA will grow over the next two years by strengthening core programs like the AACSA Leadership Academy and STEAM on Saturdays while expanding community organizing and advocacy across Santa Clara County. As AACSA prepares for its 50th anniversary in 2028, the organization will deepen partnerships, increase community programming, and expand opportunities for youth and families.
2. 2.AACSA will focus on strengthening its core programs to achieve its mission. AACSA CARES will address food and housing insecurity and support families in gaining stability. The AACSA Leadership Academy and STEAM on Saturdays will focus on youth development, innovation, and opportunity, while AACSA will expand its senior programming to better support and engage the senior community.
3. 3.AACSA seeks to strengthen organizational capacity by hiring key staff including a Development Director, Operations Director, and Programs Director to improve operations and fundraising. Additional needs include a Chief Community Organizer, mental health therapist, HR professional, and Executive Assistant, along with investment in staff training and curriculum development.
